Course Outline:

Module 1: The Outlook Interface

  • Overview of the interface, Ribbon, tabs, groups, commands, and Backstage View.

Module 2: Performing Popular Tasks

  • Set up email accounts, open/reply/forward emails, manage attachments, printing, and delegation.

Module 3: Working with Messages

  • Compose emails, add attachments, voting options, format text, insert links/images, and send messages.

Module 4: Working with the Calendar

  • Change views, schedule meetings/appointments, share calendars, create calendar groups, print schedules.

Module 5: Organizing Contacts

  • Add, update, import, sort, manage contact groups, perform mail merge, and manage multiple address books.

Module 6: Working with Tasks and Notes

  • Create, update, assign, track, print tasks, search tasks, and manage notes.

Module 7: Using Signatures and Themes

  • Create, modify, and automatically add signatures; format messages; apply themes.

Module 8: Managing Your Inbox

  • Search and sort messages, create folders, organize messages, manage rules and junk email, archive, and set up auto-replies.

Module 9: Working with Multiple Email Accounts

  • Set up multiple accounts, send from different accounts, understand POP vs. IMAP.
