Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (ENCOR)

About Course

Course Objectives

  • Design and troubleshoot hierarchical network architectures including access, distribution, and core layers.

  • Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and network redundancy (HSRP, VRRP).

  • Configure NAT, overlay technologies (VRF, GRE, VPN, LISP), and wireless networks with centralized WLC management.

  • Secure network devices using AAA, ACLs, RBAC, and Cisco IOS security best practices.

  • Apply network automation and programmability using Python, NETCONF/RESTCONF, and Cisco DNA Center APIs.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise networks using tools like SNMP, NetFlow, IP SLAs, and Cisco Embedded Event Manager.
